Apparently people are under the inpression that the Film Family Demons which i talked about in my blog "Öz indi film Family Demons continues to rock the festival's" on 9/7/2009 was made on a total budget of $6,500.

Yes it would be nice to be able to make a film of this standard with only 6 and half big ones, but unfortuently that's just not the case folks.

This is somewhere more like the real figures for this reel, $6,500 budget was for the shoot. The final total of $40,000 cash, $300,000 deferrals.

Oh yeah a bit of an update on how the films been going lately as well.

Family Demons has made it into the finals for the 2009 DigiSPAA Feature Film Competition.

And also an interview by Screen Hub with the writer/director of Family Demons, Ursula Dabrowsky, in which she was unfortuently miss quoted in saying that she based the character of the wicked evil trailer trash mother on her own mother, which simply isn't true.
