Award winning Dark Macabre Gothic Horror Fantasy Art prints, T-shirts and Tattoo Flash

In it's fourth year and bigger, bloodier and better, the After Dark film festival has once again been a huge success, the festival has now wrapped up and the winners of the After Dark Film Festivals many awards will be announced this Friday, once i have the results i shall post them here for your viewing.

This years festival featured some awesome entries including zombie films Grace, Dead Snow and The Revenant, plus horror feautres The Children, Embodiment Of Evil and The Dark Hour, action spectactles Black Dynamite, The Warlords and Rough Cut, as well as cult pieces Must Love Death, Someone's Knocking At The Door and Franklyn.

It will be interesting to see who takes this years awards, , as soon as i recieve them they will be posted hear, stay tuned....

AFTER DARK FESTIVAL A HUGE SUCCESS:

This year's attendance at The Toronto After Dark Film Festival was a whooping 9,000+ , that's double the numbers hording in to the festival 3 years ago, a testiment to the festival's growth and maybe the horror genre in general, yes folks we are taking over.

If your in the area next year or can make it there make sure to go along and enjoy the 8 day fest of After Dark madness, which just happens to start on my favourite day of the year Friday The 13th, (august the 13th to the 20th 2010).

Oh yes peeps Shane has been in contact with the people behind Revenant Film Festival(the worlds biggest and best film festival dedicated to the Zombie genre), they were very impressed with his work and placed him highly on there list of artist's for there official magazine soon to launch at the latest Revenant Festival.

Oh yere Shane currently has been placed on the artist talent for hire list of 13 film production companies and has also recieved several offers from publishers in the states wanting to licence his work, keep a look out on those film credits folks for Shanes gore is destined to hit the screen and make you scream soon.

Greetings creatures of the night and demented demons, it's been far to long since i had a chance to get back to my blog, i've been busy carving away new macabre imagery of grotesque horror, hunting up new leads in the horror movie industry and exploring new ventures of exposure for my dark twisted horror art

Since my last post i've been featured/interviewed by GORE MASTER which i must say was a true honour to interviewed amongst horror movie greats such as Shannon Shea(Predator,Drag Me To Hell),Roland BlancFlor(Alien Vs Predator,Land Of The Lost) and datum3Studios(Jason Goes To Hell:The Final friday,Species), check out my interview plus many more interviews from SFX artist's, plus tips for creating your own make up effects and more.

Also i have been featured by HORROR NEWS click on the HORROR ART link on the left then my name SHANE RYAN link on the top right, shortly Horror News will be featuring my work on there video blog, showing my dark macabre horror work to the viewers and giving you there feedback.

I have also been in discussion with several horror film production companies which have expressed interest in hiring me as pre-production artist for future productions and i'm currently waiting to look at a contract for a horror film being film here in OZ, for legal reasons i can't name the actual companies until something is signed, sorry, once something is concrete you will all be the first to know.

again my apologies for not posting for so long, i'm soon to appoint my good friend Horris The Horrible as my webmaster, that way at least i can keep you more up to date, it will still be my words, my thoughts, my updats, just Horris's murderous horrible hands doen the blogging for me.
